The suggester says: "I suspect that if God invited me over for dinner he would serve food in this bowl. Although I doubt God himself would have such patience to carve the lines using a magnifying glass and the sun."
Please take time to look at this--the artist 'carved' 30-40% of this bowl just by using a MAGNIFYING GLASS AND THE SUN.

I carved the lines into a bowl.
Approximately 30%-40% was done with a magnifying glass and the sun. The remainder was done with a wood burning tool.
This was do to fear of failure. It's much easier to wield a tool that you hold like a pencil. and the fact that seasons change and had. if there are clouds, it is really hard to burn wood with a magnifying glass.
anyway,
i used to like it quite a bit, now i am a little indifferent.
It looks better in Real D.
