trypdic - colored?

wow.

i just received this colorized version from a friend i haven't seen in about 4-5 years. i had no prior knowledge that he did this. in fact i still haven't even talked to him about it. i received a cd that was passed on to another friend and then given to me. i was expecting music, for the friend who colored this is primarily a musician. to my surprise i saw something i thought i would never see. this image colorized.

that was my original intention, but i was always afraid of ruining it and then time past. it wasn't until a year after this image was completed that i added color to an image. that being dragon faerie dragon.

in honor of my friend, whom i never get to see and love dearly, and to coincidentally celebrate the F-ing Ten year anniversary of this image.

someone else's interpretation of color on one of my images is very interesting to me. this looks nothing like what i would have done, yet i love. if anyone ever has an interest in coloring one of my images, contact me.
